This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

She's an American living on the edge of the Black Forest in Germany. Kirsten works in watercolors, scratchboard, graphite and colored pencils, as well as digital; illustrating sea creatures big and small, from crawling starfish to drifting plankton that produce up to half the oxygen we breath. While diving with Weddell Seals in Antarctica, she realized what she loves most about being both scientist and artist is sharing her explorations of the underwater world with curious and adventurous children and grown ups. She would like people who live nowhere near an ocean (like her growing up in Kansas City, Missouri) to feel her connection with these amazing sea creatures; from diving in Antarctica to rescuing plankton on a beach in Hawaii. Kirsten -- got particular joy from your super creative and beautiful Beaufort Wind Force Scale -- I have looked at this scale every summer for over 40 years as it was engraved on our anemometer readout which being very very avid sailors, we looked at all times. BUT I have never seen it depicted in such a graphically interesting way -- it's absolutely beautiful. your trout pix is great too!!!
