This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Reenactment scene from the Battle of Wyoming that took place during the American Revolution in the Wyoming Valley of Pennsylvania on July 03 1778. The legend of the battle and subsequent massacre had it's genesis during the American Revolutionary War when American Patriots were ambushed by Loyalists and accompanying Iroquois warriors. A forty five minute battle ensued and when the inexperianced patriots who were mainly farmers and settlers tried to follow an order to reposition their line it quickly turned into a rout.
The battle was over but the Iroquois went on a hunt for surviors.Sixty Americans managed to escape and only five were taken prisoner an unknown number of prisoners and fleeing soldiers were killed and tortured. A reported 227 scalps were taken. Of the 1000 Loyalist Rangers and Indians involved only 2 Rangers and 1 Indian were killed.The man who commanded them John Butler claimed in a report that he was satisfied that the Indians gave no quarter to those who oppo...
