Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

,,Battle of Grunwald,, according to Jan Matejko(1838-93)the most prominent representative of the Polish historical paintings.The original in the National Museum in Warsaw(oil on canvas;426/987 cm;painted 1875-78)Picture is a battle by the polish king against the forces of the Teutonic-(15.07.1410)Complete victory of Polish of knights.Battle was one of the greatest episodes of the then policy of Europe and have an impact on the further history.Picture(Copy on request,commissioned work) painted in 2009;oil on canvas;119/273 cm=46.8/107,5 inches.Here are few randomly selected stages of work on image>>>continued.I painted in about 600 hours over 3 month.(83/15)

I was born in 1947 in Poland.Currently i am retired,but in the past worked in a variety of occupations,rather far from art.I was in the first years of my professional labor he was associated with military aviation as a aircafts mechanic .Despite of the passage of years still walk with head in the clouds.I liked the change and I was curious about the world.I worked in a coal mine,a car factory,in the forest,in the wood and gas station.Also as a longshoreman,builder,restorer bridges etc.Constant in my life turned out to be a passion for fusing reality with the help of various types of media.After the children s crayons stage in the 60-s I discovered for myself the technique oil.This fascination does not pass.Officially did not receive any...
