This is a private commission from 2012 and is a depiction of the final confrontation between Batman and Bane from 'The Dark Knight Rises'. It was commissioned and painted months prior to the film's release and I can vividly recall struggling to find adequate reference photographs to work from due to the secrecy surrounding the film.
