Description
With this piece, I had a hankering to paint some boots & wanted them to be dynamic. Dancing, if you will. As paintings are wont to do sometimes, this one knew where it was going before I did. It was headed for Whimsyville! I wasn’t quite sure how to tie it all together until a friend, who loves to tell me stories, told one about country/western dancing. And, without a hitch, the boots were on their way to a Barn Dance Sat. Nite! My artwork is inspired by my Grandfather, a cowboy in his younger days, whose stories I heard as a child made me fall in love with all things Western.
