Description
I was attracted by the rich pink color of this beautiful spring flower. I wanted to enhance its beauty by revealing the textures in those soft petals. I used my standalone flash to illuminate the flower from the back. By carefully selecting the exposure time, I was still able to get front of the flower exposed correctly. Due to the translucent nature of the petals, back light enhanced the textures in the petals.
