Description
A Baby Screech Owl.
This baby owl is approximately 4 weeks old and was found in Dwight, IL..
Screech owls are primarily solitary. The screech owls are named for their piercing calls. The normal territorial call is not a hoot as with some owls, but a trill consisting of more than 4 individual calls per second given in rapid succession.
Note: If an image has the FAA watermark in the lower right hand corner it will NOT appear on any print you purchase.
