Description
I'm visiting all of my favorite flower beds, especially the beautiful gardens which front the St. Louis Art Museum. Now they are crisp and browned, pale versions of their spring beginnings but glorious in decline. Someone knew of the new iris bulbs which bloom in the fall. So there it was, a beautiful white iris and just up ahead a big purple gathering of frilly variety. I take photographs always but never use them when I paint.
