AUTUMN IN YOSEMITE'S HIGH COUNTRY by Lynn Bauer is a scene captured along Tioga Pass Road in Yosemite National Park in California. This is a small lake that was just off the side of road. This lake can be hard to access in the spring because of the marshy area that it sits in. But, the current drought, along with the fall timeframe, rendered conditions that made it a bit more accessible. Although still somewhat marshy, the gorgeous fall colors of the vegetation made it impossible to resist! Lovely blue skies with wispy white clouds dance their reflections over the water, while pine trees stand guard on the far side of the lake. This area was just breathtaking, and I hope you enjoy the view as much as I did when taking it!
