#249 This acrylic painting takes place on a cold November evening with the sun about to set. A deer is checking out what is going on inside the house, hoping for some dinner himself. A cardinal, eastern bluebird, oriole, and golden finch also join the party. A light dusting of snow fell the night before, but the warm sun melted it off the trees already. A harvest candle setting is front and center in the bay window. Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner.
