Description
Photo has sold at a Manhattan Art Gallery and on Fine Art America. The opera house in Budapest, Hungary is one of the most beautiful in the world. I was taken by all the gilt and red velvet. I knew I wanted to photograph this place and the audience. I had no tripod so I had to hold my hand real still and not breath. I was happy with the results.

Madeline, I love incredible music venues. I also love the ILLUSION of being at places like Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall or even Grady Gammage as I listen to music in my "Sound Immersion Room". Your photo here reminds me of the Opera Hall in the movie Phantom of the Opera...music can sure stir the soul!

Madeline, Somehow I missed this one till now! Music here was most likely goose bumps good...maybe even a lump in the throat tears in the eye good. Absolutely impressive venue. Great Capture here. I capture music by different means...recorded music played back through custom built one of a kind Vacuum Tube amplifiers. It makes for gorgeous tone, rich harmonic palette and a three dimensional sound field that's almost as good as being there...well almost anyway...imagination helps! JERRY

The atmosphere intensified the experience for sure! This photo has done quite well for me. I had to hold the camera real still because the light wasn't all it could be. However, I was delighted that even blowing it up it was very sharp. The people are interesting so you are able to see them clearly. Thanks for taking a look and giving me your feedback.
