After discovering some of my dad's unfinished drawings of beautiful Waterloo and Wellington County, Ontario barn hex designs, I thought it was a shame to loose these beautiful designs so I decided to complete some that I loved. This is the apple heart hex design which was based on the original Pennsylvania Dutch barn hex signs.

Distelfinks, hearts, leaves, flowers and stars - the elements that make up the traditional Pennsylvania Dutch hex designs all had special meanings.
