This is a still life photo of an antique saddle. My grandmother rode this saddle around the turn of the century; sometime in the early 1900's. She and my grandfather were ranchers in Montana. My dad gave me this old saddle, and I will pass it down through the generations. In the mean time, I thought it would be fun to take a series of still life photos featuring the saddle. Of course this being an antique saddle, I went with an antique edit. Just a little taste of Americana, the old west, and American cowboy history.
