With a wind advisory in effect throughout the day, I headed out to Sodus Point to witness the power and beauty for myself. The forecast called for the winds to increase throughout the day to over 30 mph an hour sustained wind and gusts possibly reaching over 60 mph. It was absolutely magnificent to watch as the lake churned harder and harder, violently crashing into the lighthouse and breakwall.

I am a photographer out of Central New York focusing on the beauty of the area and surrounding regions.
