Description
This photo was taken East of Aladdin Wyoming along Highway 24.The old coal mine was established around 1898. A tipple is a structure used to load railroad cars.
The coal was first loaded into the coal bin, the upper, gabled structure, and then allowed to run down the chute into waiting cars.
