Nice shot Peggy. Love the selective focus. We had a similar ice storm in Toronto in 2013. It was devastating with lots of power outages. In contrast to the devastation it did lead to some interesting photos.

Thank you, Spencer! The photo was taken in Maine in 2013 so it may even have been the same ice storm! I didn't experience the storm itself as I flew in a few days after but the result was truly stunning and unique. I only remember having experienced one ice storm myself, when I was a child living in Switzerland. There were a couple of inches of ice all over the ground and we went to school in our ice skates in the morning - it was a once in a lifetime experience :)
