Description

I have used strong colours for this sunset, colours depicting heat, dust and sun, a sun so hot it seems to melt the mountains. However a coolness can be felt as dusk approaches in the shadow coming over the land and the tree offers some respite from the heat. The earth has been baked and cracked as a result.
I used a palette knife for the sky and mountains, the earth and tree I made use of a brush.
