Description
Contrasting the cool and warm of the earth was the focus of this abstract landscape painting. It is one of those very hot days when the sky feels red-orange rather than blue and the sun feels like it is dripping lava-hot rays. To escape, we long to go underground where the rocks are cool and the soil dark and damp. Moisture creates longing and we hope to get through the day.
The original painting was created on a 9x12 stretched canvas with professional grade acrylic paints.
I've been selling originals and reproductions of my work online since 2007. People all over the world have purchased my art and it is wonderful to connect with so many.
