This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

I am a freelance photographer that has lived in Alaska since 1982 and travelled through out the state and other wonderful areas in the world by foot, boat and aircraft pursuing the endless beauty and variety that exists. I'm primarily a wildlife photographer but also enjoy the challenge of capturing landscapes. All of the animals in my images are wild- I do not take zoo or game farm images.

Thanks for the kind comments! I was safely in a vehicle about 20 yards away with a long lens (600 mm) so both the bear and I were comfortable with the situation. I watched it feed for about 30 minutes so I know it was curious but accepting of my presence. I was very happy to have gotten so many good shots of this very beautiful young bear in wonderful autumn colors.
