This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Moāorea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, Iām sure, when making online purchases thereās always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I donāt have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the futureā¦worry free!

It's a crisp October day. I've been driving for a couple of hours and that "heading for the barn" thing that goes on in my head when I've been behind the wheel too long is like a siren song. Just get home. Unpack. Fix a nice hot cup of tea. But "heading for the barn" was about to turn out a little differently than what I'd planned.
My eyes stray to the left. Antietam Battlefield is coming up ... and the light today is awesome. The sky to the east is dark and brooding, but the slanting autumn sun is still strong. I sigh ... the camera on the passenger seat winks at me. "Come on, you know you want to" I can almost hear it say.
In a day and time when the historical significance of the Civil War ... a milestone in the history of our great Nation ... is becoming controversial and contentious, the simple structures and quiet lanes of the Antietam Battlefield present a somber face to a crazy world. A silent reminder of what was ... and ... of what can happen when emoti...

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced.
