My Dad was a 82nd Airborne Green Beret.
He wore it and lived it Proudly.
This headstone is from my Dads grave site at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington County, Virginia, across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., in whose 639 acres the dead of the nation's conflicts have been buried, beginning with the Civil War.

This photograph finished in 2nd place in the Memories of Dad contest on 06-18-2013, sponsored by the FAA group Vintage America.
The FAA contest Administrator was FAA member Cindy Nunn. 
There were 199 photographs in the contest.

Hello Don, Thank you for the wonderful comment. Dad was 100% disabled after his 2nd tour of Nam however, he was very proud of his 30 years and the men he served with and the 500+ jumps he made.

Great work, tom. My father was in the Air Force during Vietnam. After that he went into the reserves and then went to work for the Charleston (SC) Co. PD. Retired from that in the late 1990's. Im always proud of the men and women who have served this great nation.
