It sounds so much like your Dad was a hero beyond words. 30 years and 500 jumps! Wow. You and your family are truly blessed to have such a memory. God bless you all.

Wow. What an honorable thing you've done for your Dad. You must be so proud. God bless him for what he went through, and God bless you and your family as well.

Thomas Woolworth replied:

Hello Don, Thank you for the wonderful comment. Dad was 100% disabled after his 2nd tour of Nam however, he was very proud of his 30 years and the men he served with and the 500+ jumps he made.

Great work, tom. My father was in the Air Force during Vietnam. After that he went into the reserves and then went to work for the Charleston (SC) Co. PD. Retired from that in the late 1990's. Im always proud of the men and women who have served this great nation.

A heartfelt salute and "Well Done" for your Father, Thomas. My Dad, too, was a Sgt in the 82nd AB. Just during WWII, though. :))

Thomas Woolworth replied:

Thank You Claude. They both served our country in their own way.
