Description
I usually love the details of the colors in my garden behind my delightful visitors, but in this instance, I really love that the background is just green. I took this in 2012 and truthfully, I can't remember how I shot this to have such a simple background! Hopefully I will figure that out again this summer!

Beautiful shot, Karen, love the detail, colors, composition, bokeh! LF (This looks like a spicebush swallowtail on verbena, and you must have been using a long focal length lens/zoom with probably grass in the background?).

Thank you so much for your comments, Byron! Yes, I am using a long focal length zoom, but I am having trouble figuring out what my background is for it to be solid green without flowers!! :) I think it is a Black Swallowtail, but I am having it identified for sure at BAMONA (Butterflies and Moths of North America)
