Every year Macy's puts on the biggest and best fireworks show in the country for the 4th of July. Most of my life I have lived across from New York City on the New Jersey side of the Hudson River. When the fireworks are on the west side of Manhattan on the Hudson River, we always had a great view of the fireworks. It was magical!
In this image you can vaguely see the New York City skyline with the Empire State Building. There was so much smoke from the fireworks that it was difficult to see the skyline and all the boats in the harbor clearly. I love how the reflection of the fireworks made the Hudson River look red!
