Description
We recently visited Death Valley National Park. We climbed the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes in the Park. These dunes are the best known and easiest to visit in the Death Valley national park. The highest dune in the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes rises only about 100 feet. It is named after the Mesquite trees that provide stable habitats for wildlife.
See the person mid image on the right? That is the size of the dune.
