Description
This was the first in my series of ladies in solitude. Many more followed, but this
one is one of the most popular of them all. The young lady standing braced
against the wind with her hair and dress being blown back while silhouetted
against a gray and cloudy sky.

You have some beautiful work Robert. Much of it very thought provoking. I feel two opposing emotions in this one. One is light and free flowing like the wind and a relaxing moment. The second one is darker...almost like an "at wit's end" type of feeling. A definite Fav/Vote.
Robert Foster replied:
I'm glad this work evoked an emotion. I appreciate you comment very much. Thanks, Luke.

This piece makes me want to take a deep breath and then a long exhale.....and just feel the wind as it blows my hair and my dress....So very beautiful, Robert!!
Robert Foster replied:
Wow, Laurie. It would seem you have received what I intended with Windswept. You are so kind. Many thanks.

Is this a painting? :-O Looks amazingly real. It looks like a silhouette photograph. Well done, Robert.
