Beef liver fluke. Light micrograph of the posterior (anus) end of a beef liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica). This endoparasite lives in two hosts; the primary host (when a fluke) is cattle and the secondary host (when larvae) is a snail (Limnaea truncatula). Magnification: x5 when printed at 10 centimetres wide.
