Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Elevated to the Papacy in 1978 he was the second longest serving Pontiff, a reign of 27 years, 1978- 2005. He was a leader in ending Communism in Poland along with American president, Ronald Reagan. He was a founder along with Polish preident, Lech Walesa, of the Solidarity movement in Poland. He was a media star, the most popular and most traveled Pope in history able to speak 15 languages fluently and was a former actor and author of many books. He was canonized a saint in the Roman Catholic Church is 2014 after much study into his life and the validation of two miracles attributed personally to him.
