Description
Bixby Creek Bridge, located between the Monterey Peninsula and Big Sur on the Pacific Coast, was constructed by prisoners in the 1930's. This famous bridge provided a needed shortcut between the two coastal points, which previously had only been accessible by a 30-mile inland stretch of dirt road.
