1941 Lincoln Zephyr MKZ Coupe Watercolor 148 in a blue antique finish and fender skirts to hide the rear tires. This is my own vision of what the Lincoln should have looked like, and like most of my work it sort of wanders around the general idea of the car and mostly lands near where it should be.

I created this series of vintage car images so I could have fun and not have to stick to convention and reality. I didn't want to go too far, I just wanted to make sure that it was something that my mind could imagine and then put together. It does look like something that I could dream up, and that is how it happened. I think it, then I get to doing it, then I share it with you.

When I was a kid (that ship has sailed) I was big time into drawing cars, a typical boy thing to do at the time. I kept doing it, but never got very good at it. My art was never accurate, my ideas were all over the place, and when I look back at my sketch books, I pretty much sucked. Jump forward a few (many) decades and here I am, creating artwork that is all over the place. Nothing is very accurate, but I have a lot of fun creating this stuff.
