Description

This gorgeous etching was on the $2 bill in 1896. The US Treasury had some of the most talented artists of the day and they let them really show off their craft on these so-called Educational banknotes. It's difficult to get high resolution printable images of these etchings because the actual banknotes had large green and red fibers in them which are an eye-sore. I spent many hours cleaning up the image and removing those fibers.
