Normally it snows once a year in the South Carolina Upstate. When this happens you are pretty much stuck in your area because the half dozen plows we have are parked at the SCDOT. What they do is sand the bridges, that's it. The spot in the photograph is exactly 2 miles from my home, that is as far as I will go when there is snow on the road.
After an hour of waiting the signal finally turned green, 15 minutes later NS 2671 rolled through Taylors SC headed north to Charlotte NC. NS 2671 is a EMD SD70M-2 with 4300HP.
