Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

VV is composed of a DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) core (orange), surrounded by a protein coat (pink) and a lipid envelope (dark purple). Vaccinia causes cowpox, a disease of cattle and humans, which produces skin lesions. This variant is a vaccine strain, used to vaccinate against smallpox, a related but more deadly human disease. Magnification: x64,000 when printed 10 centimetres wide.
