This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasnât disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

which translates thus:
In oil (in this case, cod liver oil) there is truth,
truth conquers all.
The note depicted in the painting reads:

Patrick Pierson: A TABLEAU OF DREAMS, NO LIMITS Born PĂĄdraig Anton-Piers in 1953 on the outliers of Baile Ătha Cliath, Ăire (Ireland), the artist changed his name to Patrick Pierson in 1961 when he and his family immigrated to America.
