The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Shoulder joint movement. Image 4 of 9. Artwork sequence showing the movement of the glenohumeral joint (shoulder) during abduction and adduction. These muscle movements raise the arm from an initial downwards pointing position to an upwards pointing position, while keeping the arm in the plane of the body. The anatomical detail shows the movements of the bones and muscles in the shoulder girdle, including the change in position of the scapula (shoulder blade).
