A white egg sits upright in an egg cup, with a nail puncturing through its shell from the side, causing a stream of red liquid to spill out onto the surface below. The arrangement provocatively imitates a sense of injury, using the red liquid to create an illusion similar to bleeding, in stark contrast with the egg's pristine white shell and the clean, light background.
