I had a metal print made. The colors are vibrant and shiny like glass which is what I wanted for my 1/2 bath

About Gun Legler
I live in Sweden in a little village near Gothenburg. When I was 40 I left my job as a child psychologist and teacher, and went to art school where I learned graphic art (etchings and such) for four years. Besides that I have worked much with textile collages and watercolor collages. After buying my first computer more than thirty years ago, I more and more concentrated on digital art. Now the computer takes all my time . I have no education in computer art. I am self-taught. I work in PaintShopPro and sometimes Photoshop. I work mostly from photos, mine and others. Textures are very important to me. I think my love for working with textiles has given birth to that love. With my images I try to evoke an emotional response in the viewer. I...

Although being 'Germanic', I did not know 'Gun' was a legit Swedish name, I thought it was nickname. But know that you mentioned it, it must be the female version of Gunnar. Ride on Gun, oh Wild and Free Valkyrie !

Hartmut, I cannot refrain mention an old title to a photo with me with an air rifle: Gun get your gun :-) Only fun for the english speaking. In Sweden Gun is a common girls name.

Re Tree spirit... Although I believe women are the wiser and stronger sex, our societies have been indoctrinated (by males), over thousands of years, into believing that 'everything strong' must and can only be male. The imbecility of that kind of thinking can easily be seen in the male dominated bloody history of the past, and still in the present; ... in my opinion :-)
Gun Legler
I like to follow your thoughts about the tree spirit. Why do I always think of them as male? Of course there must be women spirits too, have just not thought in that way Thank you Hartmut!
