In the Mt. Ranier National Park area, many beautiful waterfalls appear for a short time after a stormy day and some small, already existing "arms" of some, such as Christine Falls, are born. This wonderful national park, in Washington State was established in March of 1899 and is the fifth national park in the United States. This park is large, dynamic and ecompasses nearly 250,000 acres. It's main attraction is the massive 14,410 snow capped Mt. Ranier, an outdoor enthusiast's paradise. Mt. Ranier is home to over 25 glaciers and supports numerous waterfalls, valleys of wildflower meadows, old growth forests and is a stratovolcano who continues its silence to this day. One can explore a variety of waterfalls, streams and small rivers which often give the photographer a variety of choices for out of the way, unusual, images. In this case, a rather precarious hike down the side of this canyon yielded this image.

Hi Sandra, you have the eye, the skill and by the results I know you have the passion towards your love of the natural world. The volume of your work is also very impressive. It will take me years to achieve even close to your level of beautiful work. Scott
