Braided Lady Blue is a portrait created using digital software. It consists of 5 overlays, digital paint and 107 edit adjustments. It took about eight hours to complete.

This was my first attempt at portraiture, I am very happy with the result. The subject is someone I absolutely love so it was easy to give her beautiful face an appropriate surrounding to express her human traits. She is a loyal, outspoken artist who keeps secrets about her softer side.
