Longboat Key Center for the Arts will host two simultaneous exhibits by the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society: Transparent, and Signature Aqueous. The Transparent show is open to both FSWS members and non-members, while the Signature Aqueous show is restricted to FSWS members who have achieved Signature Status within the society. The prospectus is on the FSWS website at suncoastwatercolorsociety.com. Both exhibits are juried by Lynn Ferris. Receiving on March 29 from 10 AM - 12 PM is at the art center, with the opening reception on Friday April 4, from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. The shows generally include 80 - 90 paintings, and many will be for sale. The exhibits can be seen from April 2 to April 25, 2014.
