Four days painting in the Kawartha Highlands Backcountry with Phil Chadwick

Keith Thirgood and Wilson Street Studio have hired Phil Chadwick, an experienced outdoorsman and artist, to lead you by canoe into the back country of Ontario, for a real plein air experience.

In Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park the views are spectacular. The same kind of view that inspired Tom Thompson and the Group of Seven to produce some of their most spectacular paintings.

We supply the canoe, you supply the rest of your canoeing/camping/painting gear. While we do have experienced canoeists leading this retreat, you should have some familiarity with canoeing to do this.
