Upcycled Art

1) Post two images that MUST follow the following rules:
a) First image is to be your original traditional piece of art created with your own hands and traditional mediums and substrates ( oil, acrylic, ink, canvas, board, metal)

b) Second image is to be that same first image, but digitally or otherwise manipulated to create some new piece of art that is distinctly different than the first piece.

2) Ensure that your description clearly states which is the original and which is the upcycled version or your artwork will be deleted.

Art will be and has been removed that does not follow these rules. If you are uncertain, email me. For the purposes of this contest, no photography or digital art for your first piece.


If you review my examples in the Upcycled Art group, you will see how I have taken a piece of poetry and created a painting and then additionally digitally altered my work to create a third piece of art.

Each participant may submit 2 images.

1)   Votes may be cast by any visitor to FineArtAmerica.com (members and non-members).

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for a total of 10 different images... but again, only once for any given image.
