The Last of the Butterflies

With summer ending, at least in the northern hemisphere, the butterflies will be disappearing soon. Let's enjoy the last days of summer with a contest to see who has the best butterfly picture out there and let them remind us of summer's beauty.

Will start September first!
Rules for Submitting:
1. Your image must be a butterfly that at least takes up about 25%to 75% of your image.
2. It may be in any media (acrylic painting, watercolor painting, photograph, etc.)
3. Anyone of the FAA can submit up to two images.
4. Images must have a G to PG rating.
5. Submission will be opened for three days.
6. Your image of the butterfly should be color. Does not have to be but it would be nice.


Rules for Voting:
1. Anyone may vote, FAA and the general public.
2. You can vote for up to two images.
3. Voting will be opened for three days.

Extra Thoughts:
1. This contest is just for fun! But if the first place winner is interested I'll share their artistic winning on my blog at nqnossart.wordpress.com under a new menu title 'Artist Peers', it'll have a bit of information about the artist, provided by the winner along with a direct link to your art sold on FAA.
2. Please share this contest to get more votes, the more people that see it the more votes and the more people may visit other artists.
3. Take a moment to look at another artists work that has joined the contest to add an extra view or like.

Each participant may submit 2 images.

1)   Votes may be cast by any visitor to FineArtAmerica.com (members and non-members).

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for a total of 2 different images... but again, only once for any given image.
