For over 100 years the Pullman Porters served American railroads.

YOU ARE INVITED TO POST YOUR ART OF THE PULLMAN PORTERS.

SHOW US the Porters
and their trains, with their keys, with the blanket, boarding their passengers, making up and making down their berths. Can we see them at a ball game, or all in a line? Let us see them in their cities, in their homes, in their churches, in their communities, at a Juneteenth celebration, with their family and friends, at their meetings, at their facilities. Can we see them READING, looking out over America, at a boycott, or just giving a hand up.

The Brotherhood of Pullman Porters took pride in their appearance. Their etiquette was smoother than GQ. The Pullman Porters were the epitomy of Customer Service with a capitol C.

You may submit up to 10 photos, paintings, digital designs or sketches.

Each participant may submit 10 images.
