Light, Darkness . . . Life, Death . . . Cold, Hot . . . Rough, Smooth . . . these are examples of the diversity that makes life intriguing.

Contrast doesn't necessarily mean contradiction. Walk through any forest and you will see light and darkness, life and death, all blended into a colour palette that far exceeds our ability to fully capture, either with our senses or with art.

Contest Rules:
This contest is for images that focus on contrast as you see it, with these provisos:
~ no violence
~ family friendly
~ focus on the beauty of contrast
