Contest Rules

There is no theme for the logo contest for April! Entries of any theme are welcome!

10 SIMPLE CONTEST RULES:
1. You must be a member of the Discover Watercolor Artists group to enter. If a non-member wins the contest the prize will then be given to the next runner up who is a member of the group.
2. Your entry may be of any theme of your choice.
3. You may enter only one watercolor painting.
4. Any submitted paintings must be completed in watercolor medium only. Images completed with any other medium will be removed from the contest.
5. Images may not be digitally altered in any way.
6. Voting is open to the general public, which means ANYONE can vote for your painting. You do NOT have to be a member of Fine Art America or the Discover Watercolor Artists in order group to vote.
7. Each voter may only vote once.
8. You may not enter any lewd content including nudity, violence or images that may be considered disturbing or mature content.
9. Mixed media entries are not allowed. This means no entries accented with pen, pencil or another type of paint will be accepted.
10. The painting that receives the most votes will win this contest. In the result of a tie for 1st place the winner will be determined according to the 'Tie-Breaker Rules'.

TIE-BREAKER RULES:
Once the contest is over I will declare the winner of the contest as whichever painting Fine Art America deems 1st place on the 'Winners' tab for the contest. Fine Art America breaks the tie with their computer engineering algorithm (computer science mathematics). I cannot say with 100% certainty what the algorithm entails because algorithms are private intellectual property but I believe that the person to receive the latest vote before the contest ends in the event of a tie will be declared the winner.

Each participant may submit 1 image.

Voting Rules

1) Votes may be cast by any visitor to FineArtAmerica.com (members and non-members).

2) You may only vote once per image.

3) You may vote for one image... and one image only.
