There I was ...

There I was. I had finally stopped, gotten out of the car and walked in front of this wonderful little church building. I didn't have my best camera with me, not even my second or third best camera. I just had an iPhone with me, not even the best iPhone, just an iPhone 5c (the white one if you are wondering). It has an 8 megapixel sensor and an f/2.4 aperture lens. Impressed? I didn't think you would be, there are plenty of better specced phone cameras out there, and I didn't have any of those with me either. But what I had I used. That is all the credit I can take for the making of this photograph, I had something that could capture an image and I used it. The original image is 2448x3264 pixels (that's 7,990,272 pixels, basically 8 megapixels) but after I straightened it a bit and did some small edits on my iPad with snapseed I ended with the photo you see, which is only 1536x2048. I don't understand why, but I still liked the end result enough to share it with you. So next time you see something you like don't stand there and complain about the equipment in your hand, just use it and give thanks for the opportunity to capture something with anything. Enjoy the moment there and then, and afterwards as well. I hope you also get the duck somewhere in the picture as well. God Bless You.
