Sun N Fun Air Show

My family wanted to go to the Sun N Fun Air Show in Lakeland Florida this past weekend. I decided to go because of the photo opportunity. I don't know a lot about the planes but I love to take photos.
I paid for the upgrade for the Nikon photo area while my family stayed in the reserved seating area. They passed me water over the fence so I didn't fall over in the heat and sun. We started out at 6:30am with the hot air balloon launch in the foggy morning. Absolutely beautiful.
When I went into the Nikon area I picked the furthest place up on the bleachers so I could stand without distraction. It turned out to be a great place to stand and I met a few other photographers there from the central Florida area. It was great talking shop, since my family doesn't understand a lot of what I talk about when it comes to the camera, but they try. I learned about other places to take my camera to get it serviced and where to rent equipment.
The best part was the competition to capture that awesome shot, it turned out to be a great day of many, many great shots. All said and done I had taken about 2,200 photos and got a major sun burn.
But I would do it again in a heart beat.
