Pastoral Dreamer 2

I'm fascinated by the gorgeous public art in Edmond, Oklahoma, where I've lived for over 50 years. I'm on a quest to capture portraits of the well over 100 pieces that are on display around the city.

"Pastoral Dreamer", by David Phelps (http://phelpssculpture.com/) is on display at 14 S. Broadway, in front of the Dean-Lively Gallery. There's also a triple life size version on the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman, Oklahoma that I'd like to track down.

There are two photos of this piece in my Edmond Public Art gallery, but this is my favorite. The early morning light shaded the sidewalk on the East side of the street. But reflections from storefront windows lit the bricks beautifully, and gave the bronze some great texture, helping to show the beauty of the piece.
