I'm fascinated by the gorgeous public art in Edmond, Oklahoma, where I've lived for over 50 years. I'm on a quest to capture portraits of the well over 100 pieces that are on display around the city.
This one is called "Humpty Dumpty", by Kimber Fiebiger out of Minneapolis (http://artbykimber.com/). He greets visitors to the city administration building at 7 N. Broadway. The piece was purchased with private donations raised by city of Edmond employees and friends, matched by funds from the Edmond Visual Arts Commission. I love the whimsical expression on his face!
I took the photography early on a Saturday morning, to take advantage of both the great light and the lack of traffic. Nikon D3300, zoom lens at 40mm, 1/640, f/5.0, ISO 100.
