Painters Block

So I've had this canvas sitting on the easel for about a week now. I just can't seem to figure out what to do with it. I had an idea in my head originally and I started to paint it, and it just wasn't turning out the way I had hoped. So I ended up painting over it so I can start over. Now I have a white and grey background and it's not making any progress as of now. I have more ideas but I'm just not REALLY feeling any of them. Ugh! I get so frustrated when this happens. I guess I will just have to give myself time and see what happens. Or maybe I will take one of the ideas rolling around in my head and just go for it again. Worst case, I have to start over....AGAIN.
